Bags, just like human beings, are unique in every way. Everyday we stroll around the street or maybe kill time at the mall but we can never deny that bags are found everywhere. And although some may look alike, there will always be that one thing setting them apart from each other. The designs of these bags range from simple to eccentric, from plain and boring to sparkling and awe inspiring. Talking about prices, bags can be either affordable or too expensive which actually depends on the brand, the quality and the location where you're purchasing it. If humans have common body parts like the eyes, nose, ears etc., bags have shared parts too. Although there are some bags that are manufactured with some basic parts intentionally left out, it is still a bag. Below are some parts that we seem to find on every bag. 1. The outside pockets Whether on backpacks, sling bags or hand bags you will always find this pocket adorning the exterior of these bags. As for backpacks the pockets can be used to hold water containers, small towels or even maps. For sling and handbags it can hold keys, coins, ballpens and probably a handkerchief. The outside pockets provide extra storing space. Other than that, with these pockets you can easily reach for anything without having to open your bag. So, it is advisable to put things that you commonly use on the outside pocket. 2. The Straps It can be short or long, it can also be thick or slim. Most bags have straps. The knapsacks have two straps for both shoulders since it is designed to carry loads and loads of stuff while sling bags have straps that are long and can either be thin or thick. The long strap is designed so you can place this bag across your body like the way a messenger bag is usually worn. As for handbags, these types of bags are usually manufactured with short straps, so when the bag is worn on the shoulder it won't reach the hip. Shorter straps are used for bags that ought to be carried on the forearm. However, there is an exception to this which is the clutch bag. This type of bag doesn't have a strap and is usually held by the owner. Examples of clutch bags are those small bags used on formal parties or night outs. 3. Zipper or Magnetic Enclosure These are used to seal or close the interior of the bag. Some bags have zippers which are preferred by many since it would be hard for some people to just dip their hands into the bag. Other bags are made with magnetic enclosures instead of zippers like in the case with clutch bags. 4. Interior pockets Where can you find a bag without interior pockets? Even huge bags have pockets inside. These pockets are usually located on the front or rear end inside the bag. Some of these pockets are made especially to accommodate the owner's mobile phone while the extra pockets inside can contain various things. For school bags these inside pockets can be very useful since kids can put their pencil cases and crayon boxes in them reducing the clutter inside their bags. Bags may come in different packages but there will always be some characteristics that will always tie them together. |
